Must have Mondays - Things I Love: the Canon 5D Mark II

This should come as no surprise but... oh how I love my camera!

I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark II but I started out on a Canon Digital Rebel xSi. My only regret is that I spent so many years between my old film SLR and my first DSLR. During those years I only had a digital point-and-shoot, and while I still took lots of photos I really did lose touch with my love for photography. In fact, my Rebel was a gift from my husband (I really do have a great one, don't I?!) the Christmas before Liam was born and I even left the research and purchase decision up to him. That seems kind of crazy in retrospect but remember, I had no plans of going pro at that time, I was seven months pregnant and had other things on my mind, plus I had and still have absolute faith in my husband's research abilities... and he did not steer me wrong (even though I come from a Nikon household!)

The 5D Mark II is an amazing camera - great picture quality and responsiveness. And I feel like it makes light look EVEN BETTER than it does in real life!

I love you Canon 5D Mark II!
