Must Have Mondays - Things I Love: the Nest bassinet

I feel like I always knew about the Nest bassinet, but that can't possibly be true. I think actually I was shopping online for cribs, trying to find something elegant and functional that didn't look... well, quite so crib like, which is of course impossible, given the requirement for all those thinly spaced bars.
I came across the Nest crib, which I could totally have gone for except for, um, the price tag... but the bassinet - even more beautiful, not quite as much an investment.
Well, of course you actually use a crib for a lot longer than a bassinet, so it probably actually works out as a better investment if you consider usage, but it's the bassinet I love. Somehow, for some reason, it became really important to me to have a beautiful place for my newborn baby to sleep... and to be photographed of course! Keith wisely saw that I could not be dissuaded and became as obsessed as I did with finding the bassinet at a good price on Craig's list... which eventually we did. The good thing about a bassinet is that it is barely used and the one we purchased was in near perfect condition and the couple very sad to part with it. It was and is absolutely one of my favorite baby purchases.
I love you Nest bassinet!
