Liam and the Bathysphere - New York Aquarium
Sunday, December 12, 2010 at 11:31PM
It was a miserable and rainy morning today so we decided to go the New York Aquarium down in Coney Island. Unfortunately, the aquarium is not quite as much of an indoor experience as you might think, so we still got soaked trying to get to the movie theater... where we were the only ones in the audience but ended up leaving anyway after a few minutes as Liam was apparently not in the mood for a movie!
Still, we had a great time looking at the penguins and fish and sharks and jellyfish.
Liam's favorite part, however, seemed to be "riding" the bathysphere, a capsule that takes explorers deep underwater. And yes, he can now say "bathysphere!"
All in all, it was a great day and a much needed break from all my holiday deadlines!
