The most delicious ice pop in the entire history of the universe

After another great family photo session at the High Line yesterday, a food cart caught my eye. There was a guy shaving ice off a giant block of ice, adding syrup, and selling it to passers by - definitely eye catching!

I wasn't sure about shaved ice but I'm always up for an ice pop and the flavors sounded delicious. I chose strawberry-basil and let me tell you, it was the most delicious ice pop in the entire history of the universe! I'm not kidding! Fresh, natural, delicious - it hit the post-shoot spot perfectly.

And yes, I did get some weird looks from onlookers as I took this photo.

Anyway, it turns out the People's Pops are at Brooklyn Flea just around the corner from me every Saturday... I see a summer filled with ice pops in my future! Maybe I'll even share with Liam... ok, who am I kidding, he gets his own!
